A Love Affair with Bold Flavor
East coast wings was born in 2009 out of a simple conviction: that great wings deserve real craft. Our founder, Marcus Hale, grew up eating wings at family cookouts along the Florida coast, each gathering filled with laughter, music, and the unforgettable aroma of sauced-up wings coming off a smoky grill.
After years of perfecting his signature recipes and studying traditional east coast wing preparations from Jacksonville down to Miami, Marcus opened our first location on Anastasia Blvd in St. Augustine with six sauces, twelve tables, and one relentless commitment — to serve wings worth talking about.
What started as a neighborhood spot quickly became a community staple. Word spread that our east coast wings were different: hand-tossed in house-made sauces, fried to a perfect crisp, and served with sides crafted from locally sourced ingredients. Today, we continue that same tradition with the same love for bold, honest flavor that Marcus put into that very first batch.
